Here you will discover everything there is to know about TURTLE TIME, the ultimate Vacation Condo that is situated inside the gated community of Myrtle Beach Resort, which has become a Premier Destination for Myrtle Beach, SC. In addition to the beautiful, sandy beach with its magnificent sunrises and sunsets, the resort has so much to offer. There are six pools, one or two heated, one indoor in Building B, one is indoor-outdoor. The pool behind Building A where the lazy river is, there is also a kiddie water park. And there's a concession stand at this pool and at the one in front of the building at the beach. Our guests have access to all the amenities within the resort. There are hot tubs, a lazy river that is SO relaxing. You can soak up some sun while reading a book or whatever you'd like. You can play cornhole, play tennis or pickleball, basketball. For the kids, there's brand new playground equipment and sandbox. There are gyms, one in Building A where Turtle Time is located! How convenient is that? Over in the Five Seasons Building, where the indoor-outdoor pool is, there is a sauna, hot tub, steam room and a business center. Another amenity that is nice are the grilling/picnic areas. There are several for our guests to enjoy. On the beach, there are lifeguards, chair and umbrella rentals and an ice cream vendor. The resort maintains the beach very nicely. It's always in tip-top condition.
While staying at MBR, you'll want to check out the Quarter Deck! It's an ocean-front shack that offers snacks and other food. Their hamburgers and fries are excellent as is all the other food and drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. They also have nightly entertainment, usually karaoke and later in the evening, dancing. It's a lot of fun! On Thursday nights this summer, there is the Fire and Hula out by the pool and beach. You'll want to be there every night. There is so much to do at the resort that you won't want to leave, but then there's so much to do in Myrtle Beach itself! Check out the Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk with all its restaurants for lunch or dinner, the Myrtle Beach State Park, Huntington Beach, Brookgreen Gardens, Broadway at the Beach, the Sky Wheel, Pawley's Island Shops and so much more. Any type restaurant you could ever want is always close-by. Bicycle rentals aren't far away.
Back to Building A where Turtle Time is located on 2nd floor, there is a laundry room just down the hall, garbage cans for your garbage disposal in two locations on 2nd floor, the little gyn in this building and as of July 1, there will be a NY Pizza located on the 1st floor close to the front of the building and close to the beach. Up on the 5th floor are two sun decks for sunning without going out onto the beach.
As for Turtle Time, she has been meticulously refurbished and is awaiting your visit! There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Bedroom 1 has its own private bath with tub/shower and a King-sized bed. Bedroom 2 boasts a Queen-sized bed. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal and serve on the beautiful table that comfortably seats 6 people. There is a new refrigerator with ice maker, range with microwave over it and dish washer. There are TV's in both bedrooms and in the living room with the larger screen. You will have access to tons of channels. The living room also contains a Queen-sized sleeper sofa that gives the unit the ability to sleep 6 people. Now go out onto the balcony and you will be treated to the use of the gliders for sitting to relax with your cup of coffee, read your book or just people watch, which is fun! There is a slight view of the ocean, but the balcony actually overlooks Lakewood Campground. They have a lot of things that our guests can use as well. There is a coffee shop there that also sells donuts and bagels. There's some entertainment over there as well, so be sure to check it out. On the balcony is a chest. If you look in there, you'll find some beach chairs to use and a wagon for hauling your things to the beach. We just ask that you rinse the sand off before bringing them back up to the chest. By the way, there are showers in several locations on the property. If you happen to have someone that needs it, there is a handicapped beach chair available. You'll need to call Security to access it.
